"And this is not all. Do ye not suppose that I know of these things for myself? Behold, I testify unto you that I do know that these things I have spoken are true. And how do ye suppose that I know of their surety? 46. Behold, I say unto you they are made known unto me by the Holy Spirit of God... 48. I say unto you, that whatsoever I shall say unto you, concerning that which is to come, is true; and I say unto you, that I know that Jesus Christ shall come, yea, the Son, the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, and mercy, and truth. And behold, it is he that cometh to take away the sins of the world, yea, the sins of every man who steadfastly believeth on his name. 49. And now I say unto you that this is the order after which I am called, yea, to preach unto my beloved brethren."
"Come unto Christ and be perfected in him and deny yourselves of all ungodliness."
This week went pretty well! I am still in love with this area so
problems there.... In fact we spent most of our time at a
home this week! I freaking love old people! We did a service
just sang to them and played the ukulele. They loved it! And
along too it was so adorable! That was the highlight of my week.
this is called Ohana because (in case no one has seen lilo and
ohana means family and family means no one gets left behind or
This week we taught and learned a lot about the plan
salvation or God's plan of happiness. Because of this great plan
able to be with our families forever, we are able to know our
nature or where we came from, we know our purpose on earth and
where we are going after this life. I'm so very grateful
this great plan with everyone here in California. I know God
and knows us all individually. I loved sharing that with people
the Convalescent home. They were so sweet and now I can't wait to be old.
Also Lynn our investigator agreed to be baptized last week! And
has read all of pmg (Preach My Gospel - Missionary training book) and the pamphlets soooo...... She knows all
our secrets! Hahaha no, she's so great and I love her so much she
reminds me of my Grandma. Ah I love old people!
To my adorable, amazing, fun loving, full of life, best smile,
gorgeous daughter! Since it is Valentine's day, I want you to know how
much I love you! I miss you terribly but I would not want you any other
place. You are doing the Lord's work and learning so many life lessons at
such a young age that will prepare you for marriage, school, motherhood, and
life in general. I am so proud of you and your choices that have led you
to where you are in your life. We can feel the blessings that come from
having a missionary. The spirit has been in our home more abundantly
teaching us how to love as our Savior loved. We are learning everyday and
repenting everyday and enjoying every minute of the journey. We fall at
times but are learning to use the Savior to help us get back up and use each
other too for support. So thank you for that missionary spirit that is
blessing our lives! We pray for your missionary successes daily and for
your safety everyday! Talking of safey, I saw some pepper spray that is a
key chain the other day, seriously thinking do you think you need it? I know
missionaries have the spirit protecting them but that doesn't mean bad things
haven't happened before. I am a worrying mom, but I will send it to you
if you think it may help or I will surprise you and send it. Let me know.
I am sure you already do, but I know people like hearing from
you and how you are doing. They tell me all the time. You are an example more
than you know. Just continue being your wonderful missionary self in your
letters. They are great. I am sure sometimes you are tired and don't feel
like writing though, so at those times just remember what I said ;) and maybe
it will inspire you - haha!
How was the pizza? Did you get the Valentine package?
I love you to the moon and back! So happy I get to spend
eternity with you! I love my eternal family!

Thank you so much for that! This is amazing. So this week I
bought pepper spray hahaha but now I'm not in Glendale which is
sketchy and Huntington is nicer and smaller so I will be

and supporting me and there should be no reason to be
