Scriptures

"And this is not all. Do ye not suppose that I know of these things for myself? Behold, I testify unto you that I do know that these things I have spoken are true. And how do ye suppose that I know of their surety? 46. Behold, I say unto you they are made known unto me by the Holy Spirit of God... 48. I say unto you, that whatsoever I shall say unto you, concerning that which is to come, is true; and I say unto you, that I know that Jesus Christ shall come, yea, the Son, the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, and mercy, and truth. And behold, it is he that cometh to take away the sins of the world, yea, the sins of every man who steadfastly believeth on his name. 49. And now I say unto you that this is the order after which I am called, yea, to preach unto my beloved brethren."
-Alma 5:45-46,48-49
"Come unto Christ and be perfected in him and deny yourselves of all ungodliness."

Busy Week!

Hey!
I hope you all had an awesome week! Well my week was pretty sweet! We got a lot of work done! Busy week! We taught Mike, he is coming along well! He is a little crazy and random though.  He said he is gonna come to church next week! That's gonna be awesome. He says he really wants to change his life and be happier! Then we also taught Stephen, he is 15 and he is pretty cool. He is the only one in his family that is interested in religion and he has been reading the Book of Mormon a little bit! Pretty cool! We met with Phil as well and he is progressing so much! He is so excited to keep learning, he is doing awesome! But we had to have our last lesson with him because he is young and single so we have to refer him to the ysa elders! But he is a super investigator!
Then we met with Ben and gave him a church tour, he asked a lot of questions and seemed really comfortable with it all. We showed him the baptismal font and we said "when you come to find out this is true this is where you'll be baptized" and he didn't get defensive or anything! If anything he was excited! And so gun ho about getting baptized! Yay! But he is young and single as well so we told him that some other missionaries would be teaching him and we explained the singles ward. He told us that he first wants to go to the family session because he would feel more comfortable. He wants to know what he is getting into before he is thrown into a social awkward place! Which makes a lot of sense. So... We might be able to continue to teach him! We are so excited! Next time we meet with him we are gonna give him a baptismal date of February 28th! Gosh it's so cool!
Kevin is doing well. We are just waiting on a letter from the stake president so he can get baptized! Gigi and Justine are still slowly progressing and we met a new girl, Lesley that wants to take the lessons! This other lady straight up told us that she wants to get baptized now. She has had a history with the church and she said now it's time for me to get baptized! So it was been a really awesome week! Thank you for all your support and emails!!  Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Love you all!
