"And this is not all. Do ye not suppose that I know of these things for myself? Behold, I testify unto you that I do know that these things I have spoken are true. And how do ye suppose that I know of their surety? 46. Behold, I say unto you they are made known unto me by the Holy Spirit of God... 48. I say unto you, that whatsoever I shall say unto you, concerning that which is to come, is true; and I say unto you, that I know that Jesus Christ shall come, yea, the Son, the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, and mercy, and truth. And behold, it is he that cometh to take away the sins of the world, yea, the sins of every man who steadfastly believeth on his name. 49. And now I say unto you that this is the order after which I am called, yea, to preach unto my beloved brethren."
"Come unto Christ and be perfected in him and deny yourselves of all ungodliness."
I went to Donut Man today! It is a fun donut shop in Glendora,
CA. Their peach donuts are delicious. It's been and going to be a crazy
day, so why not start it out with donuts! I said goodbye to my Chinese
sister today. Sister Xia will fly home to China tomorrow. She has
been a great companion who taught me a lot about obedience.
And I will be getting my new companion tomorrow! I am
excited to meet her and show her around Glendora. She will be coming straight
from the MTC too! I hope she likes me! Ha Ha!
It's been hot here all summer. Sister Xia was sick this week but
a cool story that happened this week was that we rescued a kitten from a
gutter! And it followed us. We were in a trio with a cat named chocolate. And
then we were talking with someone and they took chocolate and ran away.... It
was quite sad. I hope by rescuing chocolate we didn't at more stress to
Remember God loves all his children. Even that weird man who
took our cat. I will try to remember that.
Love, Sister Plumb
We celebrated Sister Xia as it was her last Zone Conference with us!
